Robert Forto is the training director and owner of several dog training schools: Denver Dog Works, The Ineka Project, Snowcrest Kennels, and Dreamchaser Kennels. Forto has been a professional musher for 15 years and is training for his first attempt at the Iditarod in 2013.

Forto is a public speaker, business coach and radio show host, Dog Works Radio Show. Forto has been published in many national and international publications. Forto is working on his first book.

Team Ineka is the name of Forto’s current teams of racing Siberian Huskies. The name comes from his 12-year-old Siberian Husky, Ineka. Ineka was rescued from a Washington shelter in 2000 and has run in many teams and trained countless dogs to run in harness. Ineka is the inspiration for Forto’s quest to run the Iditarod.

Ineka is now retired and often goes with Forto when he speaks at school events on dog sledding, the Iditarod and living in the North.
